Justin Osborn is the managing partner and founder of Osborn Injury Lawyers, where he is licensed to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina. Before opening Osborn Injury Lawyers, Justin previously founded and served as the President of another North Carolina personal injury law firm, which grew to seven lawyers, two office locations, and recovered more than $25,000,000 for clients under his leadership. In what feels like a former life, before rededicating his career to helping injured clients and victims, Justin was an insurance defense lawyer and insurance adjuster for national and transnational insurance carriers.

In 2019, Justin was honored as a Leader in the law by North Carolina Lawyer’s Weekly as “one of the most influential members of North Carolina’s legal community.” He has also been inducted in the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum (fewer than 1% of US lawyers are members), and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum (fewer than 1% of US lawyers are members). But most important to him, Justin is the proud creator of a legal accessibility and outreach program that received state and national awards, which led to his former law firm being named the 2020 NC Bar Association Pro Bono Small Firm of the Year.

Justin is a proud tribal member of the Cherokee Nation and first generation college graduate. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma and attended law school at the University of Virginia. When he isn’t practicing law, Justin enjoys BBQing, Oklahoma football, and traveling with his wife, Andrea, and two young children.

Santiago Arroba

Santiago is a licensed North Carolina injury attorney. With a first career as an insurance agent for one of the largest auto insurers in the nation, Santiago is well-versed in what it takes to achieve the highest possible payouts from each different type of insurance policy. He obtained his undergraduate degree in History with a minor in Creative Writing at UNC-Chapel Hill. After three years as an insurance agent, Santiago decided to go to law school, attending Campbell Law in downtown Raleigh.

Following law school, he began his legal career working at one of the largest personal injury firms in North Carolina with a great team of mentors, handling hundreds of files, including car wrecks, dog bites, premises liability, construction injury, worker’s compensation and many other types of personal injury cases. In 2022, Santiago was part of the inaugural class of NCAJ’s NEXT program, which fosters future leaders in North Carolina’s legal industry. In 2023, Santiago moved to a small litigation team firm in Raleigh, handling catastrophic injury cases. In April of 2025 he was asked by his prior boss to join him on a new venture, Osborn Injury Lawyers, as part of a small, dedicated boutique litigation firm in the heart of downtown Raleigh.

Santiago focuses his practice on trucking cases, dog bite cases, burn cases and construction injuries. When not litigating aggressively for his clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and their two fox-red labs, Chorizo and Vienna.

Chelsea Govea

As the Operations Manager at Osborn Injury Lawyers, Chelsea Govea is the driving force behind the firm’s day-to-day excellence. With a strong background in executive-level management, business administration, and client-facing support, Chelsea brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership to every corner of the practice.

Chelsea’s professional experience spans multiple industries, but her passion for helping people—combined with her exceptional organizational skills—makes her especially effective in the fast-paced world of personal injury law. A strong believer in giving back, Chelsea is also an active part of Osborn Injury Lawyers’ mission to stay engaged in the Raleigh community. She helps lead the firm’s outreach efforts, whether it’s organizing Ask-A-Lawyer pop-ups, participating in community events, or supporting local initiatives that align with the firm’s values of justice and service. Her leadership ensures that community involvement remains a cornerstone of the firm’s identity.

When she’s not optimizing workflows or supporting our legal team, Chelsea enjoys gardening, traveling (eating) around the world with her husband, and spending time with her small herd of cats, SK, Cheeto, and Roo. Chelsea attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and later Wake Technical Community College.

Brenda Arellano

Litigation Paralegal

Brenda Arellano is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal and serves as a Litigation Paralegal at Osborn Injury Lawyers. For over a decade, Brenda has devoted her career in assisting English and Spanish speaking clients through sudden injuries and the difficulties that come with them. With unquestioned compassion and attention to detail, Brenda understands that litigation is only one part of the recovery process.

Brenda, an Illinois native has lived in North Carolina since 2011. Since trading in the cold weather, she enjoys running and participating in races. Fun fact about Brenda: She started helping her parents with translating/interpreting at 10 years old after completing ESL.

Brenda graduated with a BS in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland University College. She later received her paralegal certification through the North Carolina State Bar. She is also a North Carolina Notary Public.

Alivia Canter

Alivia Canter is a dedicated Litigation Paralegal supporting Justin Osborn. Bringing both heart and hustle to each case, she’s no stranger to navigating complex, emotionally-charged cases with compassion and professionalism. Her years of personal injury and family law experience inform her justice-driven approach to guiding clients through life’s messiest moments and her thorough investigative work has been known to shift the direction of a case.

Alivia holds a Master of Science degree in Sociology from North Carolina State University, where she also graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Criminology. When she’s not deep in a case file, she enjoys spending time with her family and her two cats, Minnie and Rosie.

Anina Parker

Anina provides a friendly face and familiar voice to the firm as our Client Care Coordinator. In this role, she acts as a liaison between our clients and the attorneys and paralegals. With years of customer service experience and a continued devotion to assisting those in need, she understands the necessity of alleviating undue stress and making others feel heard and supported.

Born and raised on the North Carolina coast, Anina moved to Raleigh to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from North Carolina State University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Outside of the office, she can be found at local concerts and music events, in bookstores, or at a movie theater with popcorn in hand.
